WEEE & Hazardous Waste

LPR can manage all your waste needs including hazardous and waste electricals (WEEE), from items such as batteries and fridges to computers and asbestos and process chemical waste in tankers.

  • Select appropriate containers from safe store (flu tubes) to Envirosafes and other UN approved containers.
  • Provide training on site for waste minimisation / recycling if required.
  • Collect small one-off collections to large (artic or tanker) regularly produced waste.

Hazardous Waste Registration

Under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 all waste producers that produce in excess of 500kg of Hazardous waste per year need to register with the Environment Agency. LPR can help by registering your site as a hazardous waste producer, on your behalf, with the Environment Agency. Simply download the hazardous waste registration form, complete and fax it to us on 0113 2556822 or email as an attachment to sales@leedspaperrecycling.co.uk

Standard Industry Classification

Businesses are increasingly required to provide a Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code with returns and registrations. The list is produced by the Office of National Statistics.
